Using a Line Level to Measure Elevation Change

Prior to completing work on my car I decided to build ramps that will allow my Mazda 3 to sit level in my driveway. Using a line level, string, and ruler I was able to determine the elevation change between the mid points of the front and rear wheels to be 5 inches
