We know that other countries have states/provinces but many of our states are the same size or bigger than Germany so I can see why some people wouldn’t expect it to have states

Depends on the type of camo. If its multicam though, yeah, I agree. Some people hunt though, and they wear special camouflage to do so, however it costs money, so if youve bought a 300$ camo jacket thats really warm and waterproof, youre probably gonna wear it.

My school wasn't S tier, but we still had to learn the state and US constitution, world history, had to learn every country on every continent and every capital. How many people actually use maps anymore?

USA is not taught in school too much about other country's and their cultures as others outside USA are more interested in learning about us ant taught about it.

1. The USA public school system sucks. The only other counties that have states that they taught us about are Mexico and Canada. And I went to a really well funded school, most barely even learn ab that.
2. Just because some of us wear camo does not mean we are in love with the USA war machine or its imperialist/colonial endeavors. Many of us strongly oppose the existence of the military. But those who love it Really love it. Most, I would say, are indifferent

As a Canadian i also thinks it’s weird that sometimes Americans think they are the only ones with divided regions in their country we in Canada have provinces and territories

In defense of Americans not realizing that other countries have states, they probably spend most of their geography lessons learning about America. It's a really, really big country with a lot of literal ground to cover, so the geography of other countries gets glossed over in all likelihood. To them, Germany is just Germany all the way through, same for France and England.
