Broccoli is life!!! It was/is a huge part of how I lost 100 lbs, reversed diabetes, HBP, and Cholesterol! Low carb and lots of exercise and prayers! 🙏

If you want to optimize broccoli further look into brown mustard powder as a spice by adding it after steaming. Will increase the benefits a good bit. It increases the sulforaphane intake.

My grandmother lived through WWII and died in her 80s with most of her faculties intact.
Because she was a spendthrift, endured rationing for a decade, and lived by humble means, her diet was mostly this
A breakfast of a few slices of toast and jam in the morning. Possibly with a boiled egg.
A lunch of mostly cruciferous vegetables, a few boiled potatoes, and a protein item like a small piece of boiled ham.
A supper of boiled vegetables, mostly cruciferous, and one small item of protein, possibly a tiny portion of red meat..
All bread was wholegrain and they baked it themselves.
They only used butter, and they used it sparingly.
I never saw them fry anything.
They had no processed foods in the house.
They only stocked "ingredients"
Nearly all foods were boiled, or toasted.
Now you might want to add a few more boiled eggs, or a bit more boiled meat, but there is a lesson here that we should all learn from.

I've been eating "ketovore" and the things I refuse to give up are the cruciferous (particularly sauerkraut and kimchi), asparagus and avocados. I started taking DIM a few weeks ago, and it seems to be helping. Did take my first 7-day fast in a couple years, so there may be a connection there, too. I'll probably keep taking it and getting my cruciferous, at least for a while.

I love broccoli and it is one of the few vegetables my husband will eat. However 5 dollars at the grocery store for one the size if my fist. Planted it. You can see where the bear leaned over the fence and took it. Green peppers also gone.

And it's good for some women to lower oestrogen too, high oestrogen in chics can give us heavy periods and endometriosis!!!

All cruciferous vegetables are anti-esteogens. Watercress is the most potent but its a pain in the butt to eat it 3 times a day and keep fresh.

I have a request on a video. Can you do one on lowering cortisol while fasting. I would like to sleep more deeply while fasting by lowering cortisol while fasting.

At 61 my T level was sitting at 343. After a month on HRT my level is now a solid 870 feeling better and stronger and easily gaining muscle again.
Trying to avoid veg at the moment since going carnivore for the last 90 days but I will resume broc and califlower again in the near future.

I eat all this including sauerkraut and take 200mg of DIM a day and my estrogen just shot up for some reason. I was feeling lazy and had low libido. My T was ok but my estrogen was very high. So guys, we can't always look at T when we feel off.
