Today we discuss the fact that Loving God and Loving Others as Ourselves is basis for how we parent our children. When we love God, we operate from a place of love and acceptance rather than fear. When we love others, we operate from a place of love and acceptance rather than anger.

THANK YOU. I'm a "recovering" anger/controlling Mama. :) In the past several years, I have learned to let it go and be more loving and calm...and it's been hard...to change such a set behavior...but I have so seen the benefits! My household is calmer and peaceful. Kids are not fearful of me and my high expectations. I'm really enjoying this series. You really have blessed me.

This very much reminds me of 1 Corinthians 3:6-11 "So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building."

Thank you for this video. I really respect parents of large families especially ones who respect their kids as people. I have a toddler and I've been trying to fall into my parenting groove. This video was really encouraging and confirmed that I'm heading in the right direction.

You should write a book Thank you for your wisdom. We are struggling with anger issues from disabilities that our youngest son has had from birth issues. He is adopted and there's lots of "history". But this truly helped me put things into clear perspective of what I can do with the Lords help and guidance.
