Question. I had a Guy from the tire shop hammer 🔨 out the dent. And we are getting a new tire replaced. Will it be safe driving long distance?

What if it is leaking air, and deflates fast when driving. Can i use a hammer on aluminum rim, for inside bend? The bend looks the same as yours but its inside and has a crack on the bend section

I dunno about the torch, you can actually see the tire swelling from pressure buildup and back down. Many other videos don't use one.

So with mine, the tire keeps moving out of rim. Apparently because there were 2 small cracks in the rim. They fixed this, but same problem again, wheel goes down and when I feel behind the wheel I can feel the space between rim and wheel. What could be the issue?

I have slightly bent steel rim (probably twice less than shown in this film), and how it came to my attention was: I went for the alignment to a dealer and brought the 5th rim for balancing (I put new tires, but have just HF Bubble balancing Machine for preliminary balancing) since like to have a full size spare tire on each car we have. That 5th wheel was a brand new, so when mechanic saw that I have a new one he suggested to put on a car a new one instead of that slightly bent. At this he said that the bent rim won't let him to align the car properly. I think if not that new rim the question would never arise, especially I didn't like the results of the alignment that much. The results on the rear (the bent rim was on the left rear) were the same before and after. There is no leak on that wheel w/bent rim. Could it be any problems w/that bent rim if no leaks? Thank you for this great and informative film.

The tire got a bubble from being overheated by the torch when the rim was being heated. Simple as that.

So I have a plumber wrench, it's the easiest way to get most of it back without half of the hitting I found got most of it out

The most realistic at home repair 💯 prolly need to learn how to use a torch . Did you have to deflate the tires after ?

It looks like that tire is melting onto the rim. I would try this without the tire on.
