Hey I love my Pro. I write papers on it without the extra keyboard with no problems. 3D Touch is not a deal breaker for me. It's great a iPad.

For 1.1k you could get a laptop with a terabyte of space, 16 gigs of ram, an i7 processor and a decent nvidia graphics card...

I swear I though this was a satire or like a joke idk till you got to the price, how can you say a reason not to buy the iPad pro it's because it doesn't run Mac apps.... It's an iPad!!! It doesn't run OS because it's IOS, how can you even compare the 2? Let's not buy the iPod because you can't make phone calls, am I really the only one who thinks that if you need a computer you should buy a computer and if you need an iPad you should buy an iPad? Is that crazy? Have I gone insane?

I'm kinda turned off. I was sure I wanted it, but now not so much. I need an iPad though. Is it still worth getting the Air 2 right now that it's over a year old? How far off is the Air 3?

For artists who use one or more of the excellent iOs apps, the larger surface is very nice. This is also true for electronic musicians using iOs emulations of "old school" synthesizers with lots of virtual knobs and sliders…the larger interface is very practical indeed. It's not a Mac, but the reason we move to iPad is the touch interface, ditch the mouse. Incidently, the cost of the apps is also more reasonable…like a moog or oberheim or prrophet 5 for 10 bucks or so. That is a very sweet price point, and they sound great Appreciate your perspective, though, those are good points, but there are other angles to consider.

Gotta say, I've had it for a month and it ceases to amaze me. In my opinion, the price was totally worth it, the apps for it are unbelievable, it really showed me how incredibly far technology has come.

I got it because I'm an artist and the pencil has been the best digital styles I've every tried and I own a Wacom Cintiq. So I basically got it for sketching on the go or on my couch instead of sitting at my computer desk.

Should I get the ipad pro?
I just wanna draw on it (maybe play a few games and stuff), I currently have an ipad air and it works just fine, it's just not compatible with the apple pencil, should I just get the wacom pen? I feel like I'll waste my money by getting an ipad pro...

Should I just sticks to drawing with my finger and get a laptop instead and maybe later on get a drawing tablet to draw on the laptop?

As a producer The iPad PRO is a beast. Price is a bit high but damn its a good iPad. Sample library goes in to iTunes and the mpc is amazing to use on that Big screen. The speakers is perfect for scribblin beats on the go.

I think a lot of tech reviewers always seem to leave out the people that can truly fully benefit from iPads...and that's music creators...recording..mixing and mastering...unlucky for us there are very well developed and pro quality applications that are on par with laptop

Love the video Cody! One suggestion, perhaps don't have an active screensaver on your computer next time, simply because it draws attention away from the content as you cut between each moment. Great video as always though!
