Thank you very much for your review, I am undecided between this and the electric version. You should definitely get some monitor stands as your head comes very far over your chest, which in turn will cause your shoulder muscles to lengthen, your chest muscles to tighten and back pain. I have the Duronic DM352 from amazon and they are very good. However you do need to put a piece of wood between the desk and the top clamp of the stand to stop it falling forwards. They are only £22 though and will drastically help your posture out. I would also recommend yar'ing how to become a supple leopard, as it will help with improving posture. We game, we were raised on the internet, but that is no reason we need to be weak. Peace and again, many thanks for the review :)

Wobble is a big concern for me. How much wobbly is it?
I tend to use my desk for writing a lot. How much will it wobble?

some things to think about for maybe a future review. for a time lapse video always use a tripod. speeding up of handheld camera footage gets really jittery. or another solution is to just to do a time-lapse via fotos. gopro cameras are fairly cheap and do an excellent job with time lapses. overall a great review!

Great review! Just wondering how you are liking a few weeks on? I was slightly turned off as the floor model crank was broken in the showroom. Or loose perhaps so it made me wary of future problems. I love gaming too! : )

How has the desk held up soo far? Do you think the top is sturdy enough for a monitor arm without splitting/breaking? Does it stain easy? Does the veneer peel along the edges?

What I'm thinking of doing is buying one, but painting it black and then putting a self made solid hard wood top on it.

Are you still using this desk? And would you reccomend it still? I've seen a couple of written reviews that are concerned about the wobble and that the crank succumbs to wear and tear fairly easily.

Is this the 120cm 47¼" or 160cm 63" one? I'm currently looking at this desk in the Ikea website and i can't decide, with the time you gotten with it to do you think it's a good desk? Do you think you have enough space available on it?

Could you kindly tell me the distance between the base of the legs?? So at 0:53 if you measured the distance (outer most extreme) that would do. I have a tight space and can't find it in the Ikea specs.Thanks!

Please fix your neck posture. It's really bad for you. There are many exercises you can do every day that will fix it within a few weeks. Your posture is not aligned. Great review btw.
