Fun fact- the high school they used for this is moving to a new location and this year is their final prom in that school. The students got in contact with Kevin Bacon and asked if he would attend that prom and Kevin said that he would GLADLY attend. He said Footloose was an integral part of his life.

I love how it’s doesn’t seem too professionally choreographed. It just feels like a bunch of teens just dancing like nobody’s watching

Loved this movie and love Kevin Bacon. I used to work at Boston Children's Hospital and one day as I was walking out to go home, I passed by the entertainment center and there was Kevin just sitting playing music for the kids. No fanfare, no press. Just a man giving back to the world.

Everyone at Payson High School had a wonderful prom night tonight and we were so glad to see the Footloose movie actor himself Kevin Bacon return for the 40th anniversary celebration of Footloose at their school where the film was filmed through funding campaign. We ❤❤❤

It's fun because I live where they shot the movie so I see the locations a lot driving around.

Awesome break loose and get-down-on-it dancing, especially at the end when they're taking turns, with that popping guy at the beginning, and then Kevin Bacon closing with that funky James Brown George Jefferson dance move.

Finally watched this for the first time this evening with my Mom and it was amazing I loved every second of it, and this dance scene had me smiling so much. I've always been so embarrassed to dance but this made me want to dance the night away! Man I wish I grew up in the 80's but I got stuck being born in 2007 😑
