This video came out several months before the next-gen update, and a few of these things were fixed! The lead Witcher 3 quest designer even tweeted at me after the update came out to say they had watched this video while working on it!

I did the dumpling quest extremely underleveled in my latest playthrough and the sword he gave me WAS STILL not as good as the one I already had. It's a joke.
EDIT: The fixed it in the next gen update.

Imagine if Saskia, Iorveth and Vincent were in the game. You could have Scoia'teal, dragon and werewolf helping you defend Kaer Morhen that could have been epic.

Honestly the Hatori quest line is worth it just to see Sukrus and his brother in law make up . Their dynamic at the end is weirdly endearing

I wasn't aware that Reason of State was so heavily maligned in the community, but I absolutely agree. The Dandelion recount of those events in Djikstra's profile say something to the effect of 'He counted on Witcher neutrality to come into a play, a mistake that proved fatal.'
But Djikstra knew that Geralt broke neutrality whenever it meant one of his friends was in danger. Hell, he JUST helped him bail all of the mages out of Novigrad for Triss. Not to mention Geralt was only getting involved with the assassination for the sake of those same friends.

tl;dr: Djikstra was bizzarely out of character. Glad everyone agrees.

I got the witcheress ending and I was so disappointed I never got to kill the third crone. Even a cutscene with Geralt and Ciri taking her on together as the last act would’ve been amazing.

The Griffin Witcher armour set is actually the most realistic one. Cuirasses are supposed to make you look fat, that slope, roundness and fullness of the breastplate is what forces blows to glance, deflect off the plate. Worst cuirasses ever are the flat ones that look like roman muscle breastplates, as a flat surface is so easy to pierce. Same applies to tank armour BTW.

The Runewright should have paid YOU a portion of his profits periodically for investing in his business. It's only fair, and it would better justify going through the ordeal of donating such ridiculous amounts of money to him.

I always saw the merchants as one guy working as a spy for Nilfgard wearing hilariously unconvincing costumes changes so Emeyr could keep tabs on you.

You know what really grinds MY gears?? The last quest in White Orchard, where you meet up in the tavern with Vesemir and a bar fight breaks out. No matter what you do, even if you only use your fists to knock them out, the fight always ends with a cutscene where Geralt dismembers the patrons and Geralt is seen as a butcher. The tavern owner even comes back to the story in the Priscilla concert and yells at him for being a murderer, and there's absolutely nothing that you can do to change the outcome. The part that bothers me the most is that the game always preaches about how sometimes you have to choose the lesser of two evils, but there is no choice here only a cutscene.

I think the thing I hate the most is the amount of shallow/not shallow enough water pits in Velen that force you to reload a save if you fall into them. Can't walk out, can't jump out. Geralt just stays in there unable to escape the puddle.

It's good to see that there are gamers out there that understand that it's possible to criticize a beloved game and still love it all the same!

The lack of closure on Vesemir's medallion drives me absolutely insane. Vesemir was a man Geralt knew for literally his entire life. His mother Visenna brought him to Kaer Morhen as a baby and for most of his life Geralt thought Vesemir was the one who gave him his name. Vesemir was a close friend, like a father in many ways to Geralt as well as a brother in arms. Geralt would absolutely want to get his medallion back. It would have been perfect if that was Geralt and Ciri's first stop after he gave her her witcher's sword. A proper witcher needs a medallion after all.

You forgot Roach always spawning behind a wall or a fence or some trees or underneath a bridge or something equally annoying.
Awesome to see there is still being created great Witcher3-content!

I thought that one merchant with the glasses was actually the same guy and he was just changing his outfits to stalk Geralt everywhere. He was more disturbing than some of the monsters in the game.

I agree with a lot of these, but I'm surprised that there were no Roach-related points... Whether it's Roach's getting caught on invisible/non-existent fences, getting stuck on trees, struggling to leap small obstacles, or appearing kinda far away from you & not coming to you when called.

I really went into this thinking "Witcher 3 is a perfect game, any flaws you could possibly find would just be petty glitches",
but then I actually agreed with basically everything

I absolutely LOATHE the mission with the dwarves it's unnecessarily tedious. I've played the game for 6 years and have always hated the island of fog for that specific reason

Also, the "Maybe you're running low on broken rakes" made me laugh out loud 😆

When I first started playing the game and fell in love with it, I spent hours clearing the skellige question marks to get extra loot to sell. It wasn’t so much the clearing them that annoyed me, it was the sirens attacking my boat and sometimes destroying it when I’m over encumbered forcing me to swim slowly back to shore. It only happened a couple times before I realized I could shoot them while continuing to drive the boat.
