What a locked motor sounds like

My dodge ram 1500 hemi engine is locked up and here's wat it sounds like

I'm a Automotive worker and somebody I used to work with locked up an Engine thought it was ready to start when they said dont start he thought he had heard start it

My car was frozen & did that exact thing, I pulled the plugs, poured diesel into the cylinders, let sit for 1 week, charged the battery 100%, when i cranked it over a few times it unseized itself

Mine sounds like a scratching fan clutch. It rotates even starts but it has a screeching sound. I’m thinking it’s either a piston ring scratching the block or a bearing about to seize up

i can only hear a light gear movement for a split second from my new starter, new battery getting 12.7 volts, headlights work, radio works, subwoofer pounds etc

do you think - is my engine seized?
2001 vw jetta, car sat since december 2021, so 1 year and 5 months

Yeah thats what happen to my engine while driving it made a grinding noise and shut off

Crap! Mine must be seized up too. However my super charged 3800 series 2 engine doesn't even make clicking sounds. It just won't move. Battery is new too. However it's been sitting in my driveway since June of 2014 so not sure how to un seize the engine now that i decided to give it another go on working on it or perhaps just replace the engine? The odometer reads at 142k miles.

I was driving my silverado 1500 2003 5.3l today...went to change lanes, gave her some gas and as I passed through the light...she clunked and coasted to a stop...trying to start you only get a single click...we swapped out the starter in the parking lot...had alternator tested at autozone, even though it was replaced a few months ago but all the siezed motor sounds I hear don't sound like mine. mine is one clear sounding click..opinions?

mine hydrolocked, there was fuel pooled up in the number 7 spark plughole

Curious I have a 06 charger v6 and I was told it was seized can I pour diesel in the cylinders or should I just use oil??

Bad demonstration mine makes 2 click and then the power cuts out. I can move the engine with my hand.
