World Population by Continent Time Lapse, from 1500 Projected to 2100

World Population Growth by Region of the world by year from 1800 projected to 2100 (as of 2020). This gives a brief historical time lapse of the most populous countries in the world.

This video shows that Asia (mainly India and China) is the continent with the most people. According to the UN prospects, Africa will have an enormous population growth in the 21st century. The world population will continue to grow to 11 billion in 2100. The biggest populations by then are expected to be India, China, Nigeria and the United States.

Would you please share your sources, I want to have an accurate answer for one of my homework, especially about Latin America it seems that between 1502 and 1689 the population decreased from 36.5 million to 13.7 million.
