I haven't seen a single comment talking about the fact that you shouldn't use any cosmetics that feel like their burning your skin.Unless it's something like octenisept that cleans wounds and stuff, cosmetic are usually not meant to do that 😶

Yes it does work. But I wear lip plumper when I do my own suck injections with my stick that I get off of amazon. And it helps a lot but you want to keep your lips moisturized cuz it makes your lips chap

My sister and I did try this and I kept it on for longer than she did, but when she was ready she put it on (keep in mind, my lips were already burning for at least 4 minutes more than she had hers on). She had hers on for about 1 minute while I had mine on for about 5 minutes and she said this is burning like crazy, I’m taking it off, so I did too, and I got ice because around our lips left irritated and we didn’t know what was going on. So we took it off and I grabbed ice and we put it on it because I was being irritated and stuff, but my sister was like something is off like I don’t know if this doesn’t look right, so we went down to my mom and we were like I don’t know what’s happening to like this doesn’t feel like we put lip plumper on and like it just like started being weird. So, she said, did you put ice on it and I said yes we did, and she was like yeah you guys are definitely breaking out in HIVES!!! so luckily my mom is a nurse so when she told us we were breaking out in hives and I’ve never gotten hives but my sister has and that’s why she took it off because she felt like this is looking like it’s hives so like that’s why we went downstairs to talk to my mom. So because my mom is a nurse which I’m so thankful for she gave us Benadryl which helped and then she was so smart. She took a liquid Benadryl that was in like a pill, put it into moisturizer and put it around like our face, where the hives were in an hour past, and they were completely gone. Moral of the story, do not try this!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

I’ve been doing this for years and it definitely works for me personally, but I also have a weird double lip line and I think if you’re a double lip line girlie it can help plump your lips a lot with this technique. That’s just my thoughts anyway, it does burn like heck though so just be careful 🥰

oh and pro tip: if you have smaller lips, the smaller the little applicator is on the wand, the better because it can help you get your lips plumped to a very precise shape. I use the small gloss wand (from a sample size too faced lip injections) to be extra precise and give my lips a shape, I notice it’s more controlled than when I use a larger wand. I will use the larger one to add overtop of lipstick if I want a glossy look. I also put the lip plumper on a while before I do my lips EARLY in my routine so that it dries down and I can put any kind of lip product I want on it, because if you apply lip liner and lipstick RIGHT after the gloss it gets MESSY.
