GeForce NOW: Play to Your Ultimate Potential

We invited gamers to NVIDIA HQ to test two gaming computers, but we didn't tell them which system was running locally – and which streaming from the cloud on GeForce NOW Ultimate. Do you think they could tell the difference?

of course they felt similar, the server is within 100 meters.. i do experience a delay using geforce now, so if i use it its for singleplayer games only

Tried this with kovaaks aim trainer and with the ingame setting was only pushing 50-55 fps. Wasn’t able to play comfortably. Might be on my end idk

This is questionnable:
- how far are they from the server ?
- this is not a fair comparaison: on the cloud they run a 4080 (or a 3080)
- how much bandwidth was required to have a display that clean ?

I heard great things about Geforce now but this is not a good approach to advertise it guys.

This technology definitely has a future since its biggest problem is latency which will be even less of a problem as time goes on.

I feel like this test would’ve made more sense to me if you used a residential internet connection and compared it to the same graphics card… I’m sure you thought of that but didn’t like the results 😂

I'm a Founder and I LOVE GeForce Now! I can't justify paying so much money (especially since I have kids) on crazy consoles PERIOD, much less a gaming PC every few years.

there are so many variables to skew these results. Servers being next door, the 3060ti system using vsync or other stuff to create worse input lag. Definitely take this with a grain of salt. But the fact that this is at all possible is pretty cool. And I think for less competitive games this will be great.

this will require high speed internet regardless on having a good rig or not, im not even sure if majority of australia will be able to use it regardless

How do the pcs on the GeForce now cloud gaming have 2080s and I’m getting 30fps

This is amazing, kids who are born in the graphics fidelity of today will never understand us 80s kids man i honestly wish i was born later so i can live longer to see whats to come, feel so old can just remember yesterday when trying to get golden eye emulator to run on my windows 98 without crashing, man remember when prince of persia install was 4 discs, cant believe how much everything has changed in 30 years were virtual graphic cards and mobile devices were snakes or tetris isnt the only game available, sometimes my kids whine about graphics being terrible but then i shut them up by starting up doom, if you want new gen to apreciate what they have just load up a game from the 90s, cant wait to see whats next this has changed the game for me when ive got a solid month of work with holiday pay i buy the subscription play the games i want at 120-140fps and cancel it when im done rather than upgrade my graohics card what seems like every 2/3 years

i have it on steam deck couldnt ask for more litterally works with the controller on the deck. I have the most basic internet in my area still always get 60fps (priority)

Waited 3 hours to try out the free version before I pay for the 6 month subscription and I am glad I did because one of the biggest MMO Eve Online, the game I wanted to play would not launch on their platform to what appeared to me as the game was out of date. The launcher (game's own launcher on the stream) sent a message that it doesn't have permission to write on disk or the disk is full. I would love to pay the money and use the service but what for if the games I want to play are out of date on the service and not updatable? Nowhere I see an honest review about hownlong queue times are for paying customers or if they have had iasues with the games at all, however my experience with the mobile phone app so far was horrible. Every time I would use a different program while I was in queue the app would send and error message that due to inactivity it finished the queue. When after hours of waiting the game stream would begin I couldn't even put it into full screen view (that might be the lack of my experience with the app?) and the game was out of date and unapdateable. If I would have spent money to sub for 6 month I would be looking for options to refund it.

It s so good now, at 6ms you can t tell it s not on your own machine anymore... i m playing on an oled laptop without a dedicated gpu, that doesn't overheat while playing cyberpunk, this is what stadia wanted to be...

For people wondering, I've been using geforce now ultimate for close to a year now. The quality of your experience depends entirely on your bandwith.

If you can get a max strength 4Glte signal, you'll have no trouble playing any of their games, but less than that will give you screen artifacting, input lag, etc. Overall, I'm happy with my experience, since my sansung S22 ultra has basically become my gaming rig at work now.

I just discovered this. As this opens the door to Mac users. Without having to spend money on a High end PC just to play games. I might try the Ultimate just to see what it looks like..
