Common Sense Weed Control Corrects 2 Common Mistakes

Weed control is not that easy for lawn care. There are many types of weeds and many types of herbicides to control those weeds. I share a couple of types of approaches to weed control that really are not the best strategy. Some people overreact when they have a problem in the lawn and end up spend more money than they should to address a tiny problem. Others think there should be one product that fixes everything on their lawn which is also a misconception. I hope this video can help you have a more balance approach to weed control.

MSM turf works good on POA but it takes a little time maybe a month to kill it

May also have to put 2 applications of MSM Turf post emergent as well

What I HEAR with Bifenthrin is that it 'controls' fire ants. In that you spray the whole yard, watering, or a gentle rain, pushes it into the soil, and you've killed the fire ants before they start producing mounds. Now, do I SEE that with my yard? No. It usually only works once you see the mounds, then blanket the yard with it, and of course, push it down with gentle watering. I'm not sure why people treat it as a preemergent, save that people see my yard with one mound, see me blanket spray and think, "Ah, he must have killed the fire ants before they became a problem." Which I guess is true, but only because I walk my yard daily and blanket sprayed after I saw the first mound.

Too much resistance to Foramsulfuron. Run Rimsulfuron. Or simply cover all basis with Sureguard.
