Nice tutorial very informative, but can you do a tutorial where the image can accept null or can save a default image if we don't upload picture. I done this but the problem is if I don't attached image then I'm getting null exception error even though I set my Image field as NULL in MySql Database.

you are not checking size of the image during inserting it in byte array .There would be issue of array index out of bounds for bigger images
