Elon Musk Just Declared Thrust Engine 33 Burned Out During Flight 5 Landing!

=======================================
During this most recent flight, we observed the engines being pushed to even greater limits.
Recently, Elon Musk shared a captivating image of the engine bay after its flight, accompanied by the intriguing caption:
"Yeah, it was cooking."
The image showcases the engines, particularly the 23 inner and middle engines, enveloped in a fierce blaze during flight.
The deep red and orange hues serve as a striking testament to the extreme temperatures endured by these engines.
The temperatures that can effortlessly render conventional materials molten.
To provide some context, the temperature at the nozzles can soar to an astonishing 3,000 degrees
Celsius—sufficiently intense to incinerate steel. SpaceX engineers have meticulously crafted the Raptor engines, incorporating state-of-the-art heat shielding and sophisticated cooling mechanisms to endure even the most extreme conditions.
Let us take a moment to appreciate the Raptor engines and their pivotal role in enabling all of this to happen.
In contrast to conventional rocket engines like ULA's Vulcan Centaur or NASA's SLS,
Raptor engines are designed for enhanced durability and reusability,
essential factors in driving down operational costs for upcoming missions. Unlike other systems that are designed for single-use or necessitate significant refurbishment,
Raptor engines are breaking new ground in enabling rapid reusability. Reusability transcends mere buzzword status; it is the cornerstone of fostering greater accessibility in space travel.
By repurposing engines and various rocket components, SpaceX significantly reduces the cost per launch,
thereby facilitating more frequent missions and ultimately advancing the prospect of interplanetary travel.
Historically, rockets were disposed of post-launch.
This practice has significantly evolved in recent years. Envision discarding an airplane after each journey.

They proved it can be done, now they just need better materials.

boeing does not dispose of the airplane after each use, they dispose of it while in use and have now carried that over to there rockets as well

I think President Trump should appoint Elon Musk in charge of the FAA
