Elon Musk just Exposed Shocking Democrats Secret After Starship Launch 5!
"Once you get too many rules, that will stifle innovation.”
The saying from Alphabet's Former president, Sergey Brin reflects exactly what the FAA did to hinder SpaceX Starship's progress.
Of course, SpaceX's success in outsmarting the FAA to launch Flight 5 as scheduled doesn't mean the political battle will end here.
By contrast, it will even get worse in the future unless we act quickly.
That's what Elon Musk referred to in his recent tweet after launch 5.
Find out in today’s Techmap episode.

Mentioning the success of Starship Flight 5, we not only talk about an unprecedented record in spaceflight: Catching a 71-meter tall rocket booster in mid-air with Mechazilla chopsticks, but also about SpaceX's triumph over one of America's worst nightmares: red tape.
Why is the bureaucracy one of America's worst nightmares?
"Unfortunately, we continue to be stuck in a reality where it takes longer to do the government paperwork to license a rocket launch than it does to design and build the actual hardware,"
Elon Musk just Exposed Shocking Democrats Secret After Starship Launch 5!
As we all know, building the largest and most advanced rocket like Starship is no easy work. Take, for example, in the preparation for Flight 5, SpaceX spent more than 12,000 hours replacing the entire thermal protection system with newer-generation tiles. More notably, SpaceX has developed the heatshield for many years and has experienced many bitter failures in four previous test flights. Not to mention the thousands of other important pieces of hardware that go into making a complete rocket.
Elon also affirmed that the Starship project absorbs more of his mental energy than probably the other single thing. And until now when Starship is gradually getting reliable, a more challenging obstacle comes: regulation.
"Ironically, the only threat to this is regulation".
"Don’t forget… One of the hardest things about this, was getting FAA and government approval."

It may be easier to buy a country for only space explorations!

You can’t lead an army of cowards into battle. You can’t get to the mountain top with a team of indifferent people. You can’t get to space with leadership that has an endless list of risks that must be satisfied before they let you go. Fear mixed with power are the most destructive forces on the planet. Fear death and taxes may be inevitable but you have to push through it if you want to accomplish something historical. Nobody remembers the careful, history is only for the courageous.

Just thinking, why need FAA approval for each flight while thousands of airplanes take off every minute without approval? .

And the FAA should have noting to do with the environment that is up, to, fish and game the FAA should only be on public safety people not the birds or fish or turtles

Elon musk being that he's contracted the military doesn't have to ask the FAA! especially in California when he launches his falcon 9 from Andrew Air Force Base, for the space force, remember McDonald Douglas, they are private contractors and they don't ask the FFA to fly a secret military aircraft!
so starship and falcon heavy is technically a military aircraft from the US space force!

The FAA has demonstrated what a centralized government does and how it does it. Slowly and inefficiently. This is what you will see more of if you vote for the Coconut and Tampon Tim.

Vote Trump to make it to Mars in your lifetime.

Well, lack of regulation caused the 2008 housing crisis and resulting market crash. This was caused by greed which allowed anybody to buy a house without any legitimate qualifying credit and then all of those greedy banks and traders packaging up all of that bad debt as triple A tranches and sold to you and I as real estate investments and left us holding the bag. THEN, we got double kicked by having to fund the recovery over many years of additional government debt to bail out the failures. Regulation is necessary to keep the super rich from carte blanch progress at the cost of damage to the rest of us. The super rich do not care about what harm they do in order to obtain insane profits and self enrichment which is why there is the need for regulation. Yes, one can over regulate so a balance has to be struck but the common good for the people needs to be considered.

Great vIdeo. Thanks for going into the history.

#6 won't have the same "mission profile." The FAA knows that good and well. I would expect #6 to go into orbit, further validate the fuel transfer concept, then de-orbit. - probable still in the water.

The FAA is doing the bidding of Boeing and the other companies that cannot compete with him.

His problem is Boeing and Blue Origin lobbyists, not Biden or Harris.
