I met a super adorable girl who doesn't hear and I'm going through ASL videos because we have a date next weekend. I want to flirt with her all day.

would have been better if she did the phrases twice. It was too fast for me.

i wish more ppl would try to learn asl. it isn’t fair that deaf ppl have to constantly accommodate things just so we can understand them. we should be making the same effort to understand them. asl is so beautiful and the most underrated language

Apparently people don't know how to pause and rewind videos. If doesn't matter how fast it goes, pause it and get to know the sign, and rewind it if you missed something. Pretty simple.

I want to learn ASL so bad! I am a caseworker and I have a deaf client. He’s the nicest man and I want to be able to better communicate with him. We all deserve to be helped.

The information and demonstrations in this video are excellent. I especially like how concept, not just one-to-one vocabulary matches, is pointed out. On the negative side, I find it ironic that people like me, who are losing their hearing in stages and trying to get a jump on a future need for sign language, are forced to struggle to hear the speech over completely unnecessary, monotonous, and ultimately irritating repetitive musical phrasing that competes with the speech for what hearing I have left.

I had to stop listening when we got to the part about using common phrasing because that music was the worst sort of elevator music and very hard to hear over as well. Why add this awful unnecessary, competing sound? It tells people who want to communicate with people who hear nothing that nothing worthwhile, even a video lesson intended for people who can't hear, can be done without the benefit of music. Nice message.

I'm just starting out in ASL and I've viewed several different videos similar to yours. I want to tell you that your video is the most clear and the only one which explained some syntax. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to studying your other videos once I've mastered this one. Thank you! Beth
