Marty had a unique voice which was very appealing. I didn't know that he died so young.

If someone made a western where every episode tied in one of his songs it would be a piece of art

Was just listening to some of his songs yesterday. Such a great time to grow up in the 70’s and listening to Marty on the radio. I still love his music.

Fantastic voice. Can’t believe he was only 57 when he died. 😕💫💕✨

He was also a pioneer in storytelling music. Such as his Gunfighter Ballads album and El Paso trilogy

My dad loved his music. My dad passed away in 2002, I didn’t listen to his music often, as it made me think too hard about my dad. MY son, never having been exposed to it till he was 30, but fell in love with Marty's music.

He looks just like what you would think a nascar driver would look like❤

My mother and I went to see him in concert here in Dallas, Texas and I got to backstage and get his autograph, that was the most thrilling and wonderful time of my life. He was a really great performer, and a real gentleman.

This is special...I got to meet Marty in the 1970s and he invited me to drink coffee with him...a treasure I've always cherished

Saw him perform in person as a teen. Was lucky enough to go backstage and get his autograph. Very soft spoken and a true gentleman.

I fell in love with Marty when I was 9 and heard him sing Big Iron for the first time. I cried for days when he died I was 25 and it was several years before I could hear him without crying. I still love him and play his music almost daily. There will never be another like him❤❤❤❤

He was such a lovely person, I loved his songs and his nice "naughty" smiles while singing 🤗

I still listen to the Gunfighter Songs Lp. My Father met him during the early 70s. At a Old West thing he was performing at, my Father was a trick shot artist, Quickdraw, etc.
I watched Robbins race at Michigan International Speedway 3 times.
Amazing guy.

There's never been a greater singer than Marty Robbins in country music and probably there never will be.
