why is there such an emphasis on parties in sims 4? i can't be the only one who hate socializing in the sims, right? in my 10+ years of playing i've thrown parties maybe 5 times.

The Sims 4 is so intensely centered around their idea on fun, carefree young adult life. Which to some, this type of game play is what makes the Sims an enjoyable experience but what EA has managed to do is snub an entire group and their play type which was the formation and growth of a family. Sims 3 had Generations, and previous iterations of the game included various packs which catered to the play type but throughout the series, this family and growth idea has been present from release all except the Sims 4. Its sad but like with anything you have to roll with the punches.

Does anybody think its weird how fast they're churning out content now compared to how little was in the game when it came out. Almost like they intentionaly took stuff out to fill stuff packs. Will we not have seasons untill they've already sold every holliday as a stuff pack?

Its kind of pointless to release a stuff pack like this when they dont have seasons yet. At least in the sims 3 spooky day was an actual holiday in the fall where you could go trick or treating and visit Halloween Venues & events in town. The only thing you can do with this is randomly celebrate it at your house.

BTW, the Spooky station has been in the game for quite a while, but SimGuruGraham said there are a few new spooky songs in there
