To develop early vertical forearm in freestyle, 11&1 press drill.

If you are a swimmer or a triathlete, trying to improve your early vertical forearm and therefore increase your catch on the water, this is a drill for you.

This is the second in the series of the 11 and 1 position drills, for the first one please go to my channel and watch the 11 1 kick drill.

The emphasis on this is about ensuring you fix through the wrist. This allows your hand and forearm to engage with the water, leading to a greater hold on the water.

I like to imagine you are getting hold of sand, think about assertively moving the sand without letting it slip through your fingers.
