Показать описание
The Early Vertical Forearm or EVF Drill is a great way to practice the start of your pull in swimming. This applies to front crawl, butterfly and even the breaststroke, and the principles of this drill apply to the backstroke as well.

When performing this drill, try not to focus on speed: it is only a matter of pushing your hand down so that your arm is in the right position to do a pull and push motion.

Have a nice swim!

Try using the elbow as a pulling force, the palm is just an extension. You use energy to pull the arm this way.
