The TWS Dog Leg (Gen 3 in particular) is one of the best American made and comercially available railed dust cover. it has 3 points of contact to hold its zero.

Most ppl in Russia use "Zenitco" or "Legal Arcenal" kits. As for civilian also for military use. These are different systems, but reliable.

Dude what's up with the front grip 😂

That’s why they make them all hinged or with screws….

Did you buy that dustcover or is it custom?

Well my ak doesn’t have a rail mount so I’m gonna use a dust cover anyway, dont need a perfect zero with a full auto🤷🏻 on a side note, why do you have a pistol grip on your front rail and why is it backwards?

TWS dog leg rail, even Russian SF operators use them on their Alpha AK builds, holds zero fine with all the contact points

It's also why the ak-12 is s shir for optics.i know it uses a pin and 2 hooks but it's still a piece of sheet metal with a rail on it.

I’m digging your interpretation on the amd-65. I did something similar just last month went with a Polish wire folder instead.

That foregrip is awesome. I’ve been wanting to do something like that. Do you have to have an AMD handguard out is there an adapter?

Best way to mount a sight or scope on an AK before AK-12 is, use the side mount dove tail. I know it's pretty old way to mount a scope on an AK but that's the most effective way

I have had the TWS dogleg railed dustcover(gen 3) for years. The hinge is installed at the rear sight assembly. It has held zero ever since I've had it. It's not cheap, but it's an option if you want a good railed dustcover. Just be prepared to lose the rear sight, which can be replaced with aftermarket rear sights like UTG, Magpul, and even Ruger sell iron sights.

Texas Weapon System Gen 3 dog leg, PSA’s own version of the hinged picatinny dust cover version and the new Midwest Industries Alpha series has joined the chat room.

Attero bravo mounts if you’re only looking to run a red dot is great option if you have a slick side, left side folder, or just don’t wanna use a side mount

If you’re trying to run an lpvo or need more real estate to run a dot and magnifier just use Ak rails as intended.

If you’re going for the looks… pay for the drip and don’t complain about losing zero

Texas Weapons Systems is by far, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The Dog Leg mounting system is awesome
