One thing we found helpful when traveling with my 2yo was to bring Tic Tac's. It was the first time she had them and thought they were the best thing in the world. AND they helped pop her ears during the decent and keep her occupied by something new and fun.

We just got back from disney world and we drove because I was nervous about flying with kids. But man, a 12 hour drive was quite the haul! I packed lots of grapes and apples slices for our kids in between meals on the drive. And I even packed them among some other packaged snacks for disney world itself. The kids loved them while we were out and it really cut down on them asking for every sweet treat they noticed. 😊 have fun in Hawaii and wishing you save travels back. 💞

I love the line about snacks having two jobs: to nourish and to keep them entertained.  We took our 13 month old from CA to OH and it wasn't too bad.  These tips make me want to go somewhere.  I'm Looking forward to all the videos this week.

I went to Alauni with my dads work crew and we had so much fun! The plane was so big and the food they gave us was so delicious! That trip will definitely be remembered

These are great ideas but, please don't encourage people to send PB&J on a plane. If you must ask them to send a pb alternative like sunflower seed butter. Peanut and Nut allergies are are becoming so common and on the rise. Due to the plane having circulated air it could set another person with peanut or nut allergies into an allergic reaction easily because the air is repeatedly breathed in. Peanut and nut allergies are a problem because they release oils into the air. A lot of peanut/ nut allergy sufferers especially young people don't speak up for themselves until there is a problem. I tell people this all of the time please save your peanuts and nuts for off the plane ride you could be helping someone stay safe and even save a life without even realizing it.

Oooh, very cool trip! I'm Jealous.

But erm...
I know I'm of the small percentage of the population that has this problem, but if people could refrain from having common allergen snacks, like peanuts, brought onto the plane that would be great. I have one too many experiences of missing my flight, having the plane do an emergency landing so I could be rushed to a hospital, or delaying a flight; just because I went into anaphylactic shock from someone eating something with peanuts in it on the plane or even in the terminal. There is a reason most, if not all, airlines have stopped serving peanuts on their flights.

I love the videos you guys put out, but hearing you suggest to take on a common deadly allergen onto the plane where air is shared and cycled throughout the entire plane, makes me want to never take my son onto a plane; just so he never has to watch his mother stop breathing all because of someone's snack.

Other than that one request, the rest of your tips are amazing! Love the one about frozen grapes. Will definitely utilize that tip for any kind of trip to come. Thanks!
