As a former HK local years ago and recently going back for a 2-week vacation with kids, I must say the level of service (restaurants/retail) has gone down so much.... most people there wouldn't smile or even say thank-you... some were even worse sounding so arrogant.... but if u got a white face, u would probably receive better service still!! ^^
