Application Questions:
1) As you read Mark, think about all the stories and teachings from the perspective of Peter. How would all these experiences with Jesus challenge this Jewish fisherman from Galilee? How do you think his expectations of the Messiah changed through the book?
2) In Mark, pay extra attention to how Jesus models leadership in His teachings, interactions with others, and discipleship of those closest to Him. What sticks out to you? How can you apply His example in your interactions with those around you?
3) In Mark 1:15, Jesus equates the kingdom of God with Good News (Gospel). How does Jesus describe the kingdom of God through Mark? Why is this kingdom ‘Good News’? What is our responsibility with the Good News of this kingdom?

I am deeply touched by the teachings of “The Bible Effect, ” especially the way they present the exact background of the given book. I listen to so many Christian teachings on YouTube which I am grateful for, but I don’t think I have ever come across like “The Bible Effect” that goes back to the exact circumstances of the writing, what initiated the person to write that specific book and the personality of the writer himself. Without any question this is really great work.
May the Lord bless your service to Him and his people!!!
