Water rescues continue in Sarasota after Debby

Not far from Sarasota couple yrs ago I had 1' 4" in my home. Removed any fiber board from wood dresser dried it out and still using. Dryer washer still using, expensive wood bed frame still perfect. Wood end tables, night stands still perfect. Stove, fridge all still working. People don't realize wood/trees get wet all the time and dry out perfect. Just remove any manufactured wood like backs or drawer dividers and they will dry out and go back to normal . Appliances clean and sanitize let dry out and all good. Just cause we live in a throw away world doesn't mean we have to play.

It is so nice to live next to the water. But you should never live near any watershed. Also, places downstream from new construction are probably getting flooded by their runoff.

Not for nothing seems alil to perfect of timing for corporate America who can go buy all these property’s now. I’d be suprised to see new apartment buildings and multi family homes built in these “flood regions”
