BERMUDA LAWN LEVELING / TOP DRESSING with results

In this video, I will show you how I level my bermuda lawn. Bermuda lawn leveling is a process of adding sand or soil/sand mixture to make an even turf. Before you attempt this, its important to make sure your bermuda is actively growing and has good sunlight. It is also helpful if you have no weeds to deal with and you must cut your turf down to under 1 inch. Whether you choose to level with sand or topdress with compost, you will do the same exact thing. You will work the mixture in and water, water water. This is a bermuda lawn leveling video but this can be done to any lawn. The key is to make sure before doing any lawn leveling, you turf needs to be actively growing. Having a lawn lute makes lawn leveling easy.

Thanks for this. My lawn is getting scalped on Mon in prep for leveling on Tues. Had TifTuf installed 4/7/21 but the installer did a really crappy job leveling in preparation for the installation. It's been at 4" since the 1st mowing because it's so uneven. After the this leveling I'm hoping to be able to drop my HOC and get some PGR into it. I appreciate all the detail you provided in your video and the daily progression photos after the leveling. It looks great!
