Have to admit. He's right, if it was Kal or Diana who made that threat, they'd lose. Batman honestly makes the pin of the League as the one who would do the impossible, no matter how dark it sounds. Its why he's a hero and a vigilante, He knows he's busting a law for justice but he knows its something for the greater good than a selfish one. Even Darkseid knew how dark a human can be if it came to survival or victory.

Nonetheless, Bats knew Darkseid didn't have a backup plan to base his kingdom somewhere else in case Apokolips would be destroyed. I like how they made Darkseid into one of the villains to express respect to him!
