First Shift As A Grubhub Driver …Is It Worth It?!?

Today is my first shift as a Grubhub Driver and I’m going to see if it’s actually worth it . I’ve been waiting over a year to do Grubhub delivery but I’ve been on the waitlist and FINALLY I was accepted…

In this video I’ll be doing a Grubhub ride along so you can see what it’s like and at the end of the video I will go over my Grubhub earnings to see if it’s worth your time. This is not only a ride along but will be my overall Grubhub review to see if you should add it to your list of gig apps to have as a food delivery driver .

I did a $13 GrubHub McAlister‘s order for 1 mile to the restaurant and 1 mile to the customer today, it was less than 15 minutes of work.

My experience with grubhub also was much better all around. I guess having a lot less drivers accepted helps

I recently started doing GH too. For me, it’s by far the best of the food delivery apps, but the problem is simply the lack of orders. Some days GH will drop juicy orders back to back (I made $40/hr during the dinner shift on Sunday from just GH alone), but other days it’s COMPLETELY dead, going hours without orders or only getting barely $1/mile every once in a while. Maybe just my market, but it works out okay when multi apping

This video must apply to Grubhub reviews in certain cities, bc I’ve been doing grub hub for the past 3 years and it’s gotten worse and worse! This is the first YouTube video and page I’ve seen in a long time with actual positive things to say about grubhub these days. Everyone everywhere else I know or have seen have been talking so much factual shit about grubhub and the terrible set up it has🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

Been doing GH for about three years. It has gradually gotten better. A few thoughts:
1. It can be hot and cold. The hot times are weekends. Not as good on weekdays.
2. The levels (premium, pro, partner) are illusions. They don't give you better orders etc. You might get more access to scheduling, but I make more money off schedule usually. Best to cherry pick and stay at the lowest level.
3. GH will give you a violation for accepting, then rejecting too often. I would say do that a few times out of 100 orders.

GrubHub sends out orders pretty much instantly so you have to avoid restaurants like Applebee’s or steakhouses unless you know they were ordered a while ago

Wow I just got accepted for GH to West Chester region. I live in Norristown but didn’t want to go on the long waiting list. West Chester was the only region available. It’s about 25 minutes from where I live.
