i work at rayban and you can always buy extra lenses and switch them whenever you want.. if you dont like the transistion

I just purchased the clip-on shades. and they come in multiple colors that you can match with your outfits. Much cheaper than transitionals, and comes in 3-6 packs on Amazon.

Yeah, I completely agree with the other comments. I returned my polarized ones to get the transitional ones, as they can become kind of useless if you're not spending much time outdoors. If you spend most of your day outside, then I understand, but why not just have both? The transitionals are actually very good. They transition quickly, around 10 seconds to fully darken, and if it's bright enough, they'll darken swiftly. Definitely go transitional.

I just returned my polarized because it would limit my use indoors (conferences, restaurants, bars etc). If you drive a lot I could see that being a deciding factor but if you're a city dweller without a car, I think the transition is the way to go.

I live in the US and here you can order the Ray Ban Meta glasses with Xtractive transition lenses. They get darker than standard transition lenses and darken behind the windshield.

Agreed on the driving. 😢 But overall, having transition lenses, I get 70% more use than my wife just with the Meta Ray-Ban standard shades.

I think at the end of the day it’s gonna depend on what your using them for I got a pair of the transition lenses and can use them at work and not look like a dummy wearing sunglasses indoors and than still have the look of sun glasses when I’m out and about in the sun they won’t be as good as normal shades for outside but I’m happy with them and they’re still stylish so I’m not mad about it

I am fine with the transition glasses. Most of the time it does adjust to wherever you are. I mainly like the camera feature more

Hell, I just got mine prescribed with a bit of tint and kept it moving. LOVE THEM!

I bit the bullet and sprung for both. This way when I’m outside traveling, I can use the sunglasses and have the transition ones in the charging case. Then I can switch when I’m indoors.

Transition xtractive are faster to transition, go darker, and are reactive in a car.

I agree they don’t get dark in the car, so i just use other shades if needed. But transitions are the only way to go. They will get better

I'm actually so glad I saw this. I don't need glasses I have perfect view. But was grabbing sunglasses literally today and thought maybe I should do transitions for exact same reason. Now I won't lol. Saved me 80 bucks man score

Just picked my transition Headliners up last week and after spending $400 I'd say the biggest con for me is the lack of transition. I still have to wear my actual sunglasses when outdoors on a sunny day. 🙄

Agreed! I have the transition lenses and they suck. Should’ve just gotten 2 different glasses. Blue light blocking and sunglasses

Advice, buy with normal lenses and get custom transition lenses.
