Phoenix-area schools experiencing bus driver shortage

Some Phoenix-area school districts have a shortage of bus drivers, leading to reported delays at pick-up and drop-off.

I drove school bus in Blaine County, Idaho. When the wife and I moved back here in 2010. I looked into it, no damn way in AZ! No way!

I applied last year, they turn me down because of misdemeanor over 30 years ago

I drove buses, but the CDL lapsed. To get renewal, gotta go through all the same hassle as if I were a new driver. So forget it. They should change that, so with a med checkout and drive test, one could drive. Then they'd have an other option.
