Say what you want about Marko and how he runs the team, but he has accomplished a lot of things at the team to get them to where they are. He does not deserve to be ousted because of the ignorance of the new CEO.

Marko has done great things with red bull and should go when he's ready .

In case you don't know. The iconic Gulf liveried Porsche 917 never won Le Mans except in the Steve McQueen film. Helmut Marko won Le Mans outright in a widowmaker Porsche 917. And a Gulf liveried GT40 won the BOAC 500 and Le Mans in the same year.

Firing Marko would be bad for business, as Marko stated he's already almost 80 and certainly slowly backing down from his current role, firing him would cause such a big stir now that other teammembers would leave and that would send Red Bull down in a negative spiral.

I think RB will miss Marko. He's not to everyone's liking, but he's a shrewd, experienced operator, and totally loyal to RB. I just wonder if RB will be as successful without him.

The CEO is pissed he didn't get any of the catering they overspent on.

though im not a fan of marko himself and him as a person, you cannot deny how he is an integral part of red bull and has been there for this long for a reason, he knows the in and outs of RB as a team and a company and F1 as a sport, for a new CEO to not even give him more than 15 minutes shows he lacks respect for what helmut has done for the team over the years and a major red flag for me.

New CEO would be Stupid to force Marko out!

There is a saying if it's not broken then don't fix it.

One if the reasons red bull is so successful is because Marko and christian have full autonomy over the racing team you take that away start interfering red bull could suffer badly like Ferrari does

Red Bull was as based as a company could get while Mateschitz was alive, a few years ago, a few upper middle management types wanted to "go for Woke" and they got shown the door immediately. Mateschitz' death could be the death of Red Bull. Marko, Horner and Mateschitz built the Red Bull team together, Marko and Horner have been RBR since the beginning, Helmut should stay as long as he likes and leave on his own terms, that's my opinion though. Dietrich was based and had a love for extreme sports, we don't know enough about the new guy, hopefully he has enough sense to leave well enough alone.

the new CEO of RBR should just take the money and leave the team do their thing. never change a winning team.

I did some research, and I can't find a single reputable article that claims Marko might be leaving the team. Do you have any real sources or is this all just speculation based on no evidence?

If this guy decides to make his own decisions and interrupt the team, the team will start faltering. Simple as that. Doesn't matter if he's used to "sports in general". He hasn't dealt with F1.

You don't have to like somebody to appreciate the job they do.
Ferrari management forced Todt out in 2007. Compare how successful they were while Todt was there & how little they have won since.
Personalities like Marko get very mis-quoted in the media.

Yep . People don’t come much nastier than Marko . "

There was a documentary called the Speed Merchants with Marco, Elford years ago. Was pretty good.

Really dumb move by the CEO to come in and change the winning formula. You don't fire Mark or Christian! You let them continue to have 100% autonomy. And you let them continue to overspend past the cost cap so you can have a better car then anyone else and you are guaranteed to win. Don't change what works stupid!

great news - hope they will be able to sort it out in future.

Marko should not be fired but he should definitely retire.
