Do you... honestly think that other species don't care for their sick or wounded? _Mice_ do it. So do several others. They can see a need, and meet it. Every animal that _cares for its young_ can see a need and meet it. Birds are a great example.
So yeah, other species can, too, we're just better at it.

So do other species. We're just better at it.

And a human is still gonna do human things. Building a house, for instance (kinda like what that beaver is doing, building a home.

And a human isn't gonna go make a dam of the sort they make.

Neither are we. We'll make something a bird will _use as_ a net, but we're not making the same sorts of things they use, nor are we going to make one to live in for ourselves.

Not really. It's part of what makes us human. Some of us are jerks, because having _some_ of us be jerks is a good survival strategy. Of course, that goes wildly off the rails frequently, and so we attack or banish those who do things we as a group don't like. Just like animals do.

To the extent that we can, by understanding that we need each other in order to survive and thrive, and thus setting up rules we like to make sure we're all surviving and thriving as much as possible. Religion, _any_ religion, just does the same thing but tells you the rules it imposes come from a magic authority parental-figure replacement. While saying things like slavery are okay, or to discriminate against one group or another.
Secular morality is _better_ than religious morality because while religious morality _does_ change over time, _secular_ morality at least _admits_ to it.
