Agnosticism is just being HONEST. It's like saying, I don't know, I've never experienced God.

Put simply:
"Does God exist?"
Theist: Yes
Atheist: No
Agnostic: That can't be answered

I personally believe there is something out there we will never be able to comprehend

I am essentially an Agnostic Existentialist, I remain uncertain / can’t discern yes / no, even whether I am truly uncertain. Being an existentialist, I believe that nothing inherently really matters in this existence; though I admire its pulchritudinous facade, nevertheless it bears chaos, absurdity, evil etc. which is why I want to create my own meaning in this life, despite the fact that the meaning and free will in which I believe in, may not really even exist.

The reason why I am agnostic is because I can't really discern God's existence, I therefore am a skeptic in superstitions, beliefs, miracles, prayers, false hopes, culturally made morals, traditions, politics, religions (including my native Roman Catholicism), also because I don’t want to live in bad faith, and just make my own authentic meaning in this seemingly meaningless existence. I may not really be a real philosopher, because I am a practicing physical therapist, but that doesn’t mean that I essentially have to study purely anatomy-physiology and therapeutics throughout my life as dictated by people -- my existence comes before my essence.

For me, the probable true purpose in this absurd reality may be that God made it that way so that he could test our faiths in him, but you don’t necessarily have to be a believer of a Christian God, but we may as well be a non-Christian theist, atheist, agnostic. The only things we have to do are to live morally good (even though I don’t really believe in morality, I must respect everyone’s beliefs as well), live in harmony, and respect one another, love our ephemeral existence, and yes we may even embrace nihilism, but the things we mustn’t do are; to violate universally preferable behaviors, immorality etc. and most of all – commit suicide.

But as what I said earlier, I am an agnostic existentialist; I can’t really discern whether my assumptions here are true or not, even towards my own uncertainty. I might even believe that there's really no God, no heaven, no test. This is why I remain open to opinions. I know I may be erroneous / false in any of these, but it wouldn’t matter anyway. Whether someone wins and I lose, that doesn’t mean anything to the vastness of the universe, and the infinity of time’s passing, we’ll all forget about it in a few days and we’ll be dead anyways. But what if I were false to believe that neither God nor heaven existed? Does it matter? Once I’m dead, I don’t have to experience my humiliation anyway. I also would like to believe in either Pascal's or the Atheist's wager.

That’s why I sometimes just forget every belief, and just focus on enjoying my transient life, appreciating the universe since it can’t appreciate itself, (then again, maybe it can even appreciate itself without sensory organs), love the people that I was inclined to love, explore diverse cultures and beautiful sceneries, and help for a cause. These things may or may have not meaning, but it doesn’t matter anyway as well, it doesn’t even matter that it doesn’t matter, I just want to be at peace. Thanks for reading.

I’m agnostic. What I mean by that is that I don’t know if God exists or not. I basically don’t have a God.

It means you're unable to find any scientific evidence to prove whether God exists or not. Case closed.

As a 32 year old, I recently had to fill out official paperwork that asks religion, and I answered “agnostic”, and once I went in for my procedure, they brought up my background, and said “is agnostic your official religion?” And it was validating that the U.S. medical system actually takes agnosticism seriously

As an agnostic I’m honest enough to admit that I don’t know and I probably can’t know because I’m a simple human being. We’re not likely meant to know. Maybe we’ll know in dying, maybe not. I dunno.

Agnosticism is the greatest gift for centrists, because you can simply say "idk".

Something can’t come from nothing. So there’s probably something out there that started all of this that we couldn’t comprehend.

I think a lot of people get confused about atheism and agnosticism

If I have to assign a label I would say I am agnostic. I kind of believe in God or a higher power but I don’t believe anyone really knows how it all works and don’t believe in any man made religion.
