As with every tier list about every topic ever made, not everyone will agree with this one. With that being said this list was put together during discussion from an average of 100 players during a live stream to Twitch and Youtube! I really like the slice and dice with its rune, I'd put in B or A when you put it down next to a wall it just wrecks ogres. For me the only issue with it is that as mentioned some things can still hit it like kobalds or sharken (Which I think is either a bug or a design flaw as it defeats the whole point of the rune). If nothing could touch it, then I would put it S tier.

just calculated and testet with my brother for straight 2 hour whats more worth how many towers per upgradebeams and when its worth to add more upgradebeams (with the rune 75% more dmg for each tower 19% less) took quiet some time... short answer is 3 max, 2 is better if the tower costs >3
