I'm pretty sure I'm going insane because of 1700 mobs per wave. Didn't they tone that down back to a thousand? I remember how happy I was when the 2, 2k waves in Ancient Mines were gone. Why are we approaching 2k/wave again? It makes everything so tiring to do. I hit Tornado Highlands today, still trying to farm a 8/8 OD rune, and three waves of 1, 6k-1, 7k mobs. Trying to get my massacre mix mode Dune Eater unlock, but all I can do is like four or five attempts before I want to gouge my eyes out. I love trying new strategies or trying to use the new stuff from the Guardian, but at the same time I feel awful when I spend 20 minutes building and going through waves, turn around and see all my towers are gone.

I dont have people to play with so i put 8 eve dsts (I forget the name) and then sit at the back with a dual lil bomber

Do you get exp per mob you kill or wave you complete or both?

could u go over if rune farming changed with the new difficulty like can i still get godly runes with lycan king difficulty or does it need to be dune eater difficulty now

This is the reason I stopped playing at launch, it was simply an unfun grind to get better gear and higher levels. I guess they still didn't fix that.
