I don't like how we are judged by letters and numbers. We aren't computers we cant just jam things and facts into our brains.
Most of the things we learn in school we are gonna forget it anyways.

In my school(Finland):
There aint a classroom with sepret desks, we dont have dresscodes, primary to middleschools are all the same level, no matter what school you go to, you have the same change to get good grades. We have subject called "kotitalous" more familiarly "köksä" or in some towns "kotsa". There we learn to cook and to do much more housework. Thats three hour a week, and two of arts, three of sports, two of crafts, two of music. That makes 12 hours a week of unacademic subjects!! And know what? There is classroom built in the school for each of those! Arts and crafts, both has their own classrooms.50% to 30% of the grade comes from the test. What about everything else? Yeah, PART of that is homework, and ur notebookwork, BUT it also includes taking part on the conversation, how you do teamwork, focusing on lessons, and all that!! In Finland, we do lots of tasks on groups. And thats really a big part, believe me! I am grateful for the Finnish schoolsystem, and wish you best of luck to school and life!❤️ I know I didn't write every thing correctly, but I know that you understood. Just really wanted to share my thoughts.

Its great how children today are punished for not being able to sit down for 8 hours a day, and numbly listen to someone you don't know.






*But children are rewarded for being able to regurgitate unoriginal information and allow themselves to be programmed like computers*

I myself might be held back from graduation if I don't keep up my grade in Chemistry. I am a Senior in Highschool and the feeling is scary. I love writing, which is why I do so well in my English class. I just don't see the purpose of chemistry, I could learn, the subject interests me, but when we are overwhelmed with worksheets, notes, homework, Tests. It just ruins it for me.

I was really impressed by maths teachers perspective on how to grow the maths system by teaching them not to calculate equations but to do things to calculate can’t. think that is a great way to start changing out future
