'The Cult' frontman has deep Canadian connections

For over three decades, British band 'The Cult' have helped change the sound of rock music and have amassed dedicated fans around the world. Lindsay Dunn with lead singer Ian Astbury's deep Ontario connections.

Saw them at the Ex in 86'. The Cult was awesome on stage. Guns and Roses opened for them. A few months later, GnR was the hugest act on the planet.

Our parents took us to Hamilton ONT on Mount Brow, , east 22nd st, , We all got fed up with the winters..So our father took us all to Australia..we all loved it there but after 5 years our mother ran off back to the UK..Great place for music but lousy weather.
