Thanks Rachel. I appreciate it that you help me improve my English. I'd learned English at my country but I couldn't understand when I talked to an American, and they didn't understand me, too. Pronunciation is really important, I love all of your videos. I wish all the best to you and your family.

I'm a native American English speaker and I enjoy watching these vids because they make me realize how much I take it for granted. I'm learning the terms like Flap T, diphthong, contraction, etc. Now I see why many non-english (American) speakers have a hard time understanding and learning. Great teacher! Is there an equivalent of you Rachel (teaching style) in other foreign languages you can suggest?

Thank you for teaching us. Im student to study English in CA. When I came here, I realized greeting was the most important to remenber me for a stranger. I had to introduce myself whereve, wheneve I am. If someone who meet me for the frist time, can remenber me, they are concerned about me since we met, so that I can have a chance to practice my English and make friends. Im using your site since now on.

I wandered over here at Staci's suggestion and am thrilled with this video! My 9 year old daughter has Asperger's and struggles with greetings everyday. I showed this video to her and she LOVED it!! She told me she always hears different versions of "what's up" (i.e. wassup, what up) and didn't realize they all meant the same thing (basically, hello). She also wonders why people say it differently. The real life examples you offer of greetings and the kinds of things you can/should say back to the other person is perfect for people learning English, but also for people like my daughter. I am mostly thrilled that she enjoyed it so much. We go over things like this so much and she finds it very exhausting and boring, but this video completely had her attention. She's watched it 6 times already and I heard her practicing some of the greetings. Thank you! Off to check out your other videos.

Thank you Rachel. Though you taught things that I already know, it was quite helpful me to remind 'em and was great hearing those native English speakers. Thanks again.

American people are FRIENDLY, and their culture is fascinating. While I was in America, I came to know the culture of greetings, and how the AMERICANS greet each other. Here in RACHEL'S ENGLISH, we can become more perfect to this point. On language learning, we LOVE Rachel's English.
