Thanks to PDS I've come to a point where I always do "the right thing", NATURALLY and without even having to think about it. I became assertive, I say what I think and how I feel, I fight for my rights instead of fawning in front of perceived "authorities". That being said, I still feel toxic shame, guilt and other difficult emotions. It's like my brain completely changed when it comes to what to do, but it's still in emotional flashback when it comes to how I feel. Hopefully that will change too as time goes by! These things take time :)

It's so weird to finally be secure.. and for the first time I don't need a bf(while I have one). I have boundaries and I speak up and I'm truly myself. And Without anxiety. I'm ready to walk away when needed. I don't daydream about someone 24/7 like I use to. I have so much space in my mind for myself and my goals and my self care and me.

I already did a lot of work in relation to my past relationship on a behavioral level, but now I am truly feeling the feelings while I’m dating. I’m not cognitive rationalizing away the feelings as much, which is growth!
I’m also putting together the pieces more and more, and I feel more confusion often. I sometimes really feel confused as to what I truly want/need 😅
I am even sometimes already in stage 3, with breaking my patterns (although still being anxious sometimes 😢).

Thank you Tais, I love your content. I think I might be in stage 3. I got triggered on Saturday, told my partner I needed to go silent in order to process and I was re-regulated within a couple hours. In the past it would have taken much longer for me to process my feelings and get back to feeling emotionally regulated. Thanks a million.

Stages:
1. Feel the feelings stage - what’s going on inside of us?

2. Put puzzle pieces together - can be confusing

3. Transformation - feeling things in the moment, self-soothe, change patterns that make you anxious and triggered, greater sense of wellbeing in our relationships, great feelings of love & connection, alignment, communicate your needs more, feeling more compassion

4. Solidification of this - grow or roots, more clear about who we are, greater interdependency

I feel like being AP is the worst because of the physical pain you feel. It was a huge source for my depression as a teenager

Thanks to doing your courses and complementing it with weekly therapy I was able to finally feel and act a lot more secure even though I'm with a dismissive avoidant partner. The needs course and co-dependency & enmeshment courses helped a ton. Life is so much easier for us both. Going to try out the other courses soon. Finally breaking out of that vicious loop which my anxiety and his avoidance were driving was the best and most relieving feeling ever. Thank you for all your work!

I loved this video so much. Very enlightening and fascinating. I believe that I am at stage two. The end result of stage four, oh my goodness. It sounds like the most worthy goal I could ever work toward. I’ve been at this for a year and some change and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, it’s all because of PDS. Thank you so much

I think this is very helpful. It's a little like going to a dentist and thinking it might hurt, but then they tell you what it will be like and you see they're correct and feel safe.
