My SN850P 2TB recently arrived from amazon. I can say with confidence that this new ssd is definitely much faster than the previous Playstation SN850. Transfer speed are nearly doubled and transferring 500gb took about 10 minutes when i transferred from internal, comparable to the Seagate Xbox Expansion cards. If you’re familiar with those speeds. While the previous SN850 took about 40 minutes. I got it for a great price worth the $169.99.

I bought a PS5 a few weeks ago. I need the 4TB version! But, the price is quite high 400 dollars... If the price drops to 250 dollars in time I will buy it! It's not normal for an SSD to cost nearly as much as a console... 😅

I have the 850P in my cart, it's cheaper than the 850, but still not 100% sure if it's an upgrade from the 850 or about the same? Too many people saying too many things about all of them. I want 2TB in my PS5 and not really caring which one it is just want the best bang for my buck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Cool, so i bought this and it is slower then the base SN850 NVMe SSD. I had just purchased the base 1 and was returning it for this. What is going on here? They are both the 2TB model

Does this add additional storage to your existing storage or cancel out the onboard storage. I went to purchase one of these in store and was told "you do know you only get an extra 100GB as you wont be able to use your current storage". Is this correct?
