It's the basic stuff that counts. I've come so far as a producer just from your tutorials and feedback streams. I've gotten my first official release by a small label and I can't thank you enough Zen!

This was actually pretty awesome. The humor makes it more enjoyable, and the tutorial itself is extremely relevant.

i was just getting into making Future Bass and always thought my chords sounded loose and empty. But after this tutorial, it made my Supersaws much Better! (I also recommend Gentle Compression and Warm Saturation (Very Less) to get that closed and tight feel while still maintaining the wideness - I sound like an idiot).

I've tried this one before but man, you are highly entertaining and one of the best at doing synth/sound design tutorials. Everything you post is on point.

Considering that supersaws get their sound due to the phase interaction, I would say that nasty high end is just a result of said phasing.

On another note, this is a good tip for any kind of synth layering. Noise from every synth preset you use can easily stack up.

Your straight-face expression from 1:30-1:40 when stating whether people utilize your tips was hilarious XD thanks for the tip BTW! definitely be putting this to use.

2:09 That's why are tutorials made in a first place, to teach basic stuff 😄 If it would be useless, people wouldn't watch it 😄 Keep doing these awesome tutorials Zen 😉
Edit: In fact, at the beginning of my music production, you felt so advanced, cause i didn't even knew what an oscilator or ADSR are. So i was watching InTheMix (And i still do) Who is by no means, bad music teacher 😉

nice tutorial. it sounds different than a usual supersaw indeed. i wouldn't call the highend of a supersaw "harsh" though. i think supersaws are some of the most mellow sounds on earth when it comes to sounds that go through the whole spectrum

I find that layering pink noise for this kind of things gives it a more natural curve and sound more pleasing to the year.

This tip is useful for just about any synth that has harsh high frequency’s.
