One of the most common questions I get asked is how I achieved a particular vocal reverb sound in a song. Of course, there are many different techniques behind creating each unique effect and answer depends on the situation at hand but after doing this for awhile, I've started to learn some tricks to achieving a 'cleaner' vocal reverb sound which gives your vocal more presence and allows it to occupy the spotlight. Cool MB, going to try that to keep some space around vocal! side chain great for longer delays too. And dial in a side chain compression mixture and set the release to get the timings sweet and put a suitable reverb after it. Echoboy has great tone presets for delays or use them on reverbs
