my ex broke up with me in november he did actually offer friendship. he even said we might get back together maybe in the future when there is less stress. we ended up being friends, but after a month i went no contact, and thats where i am now. like you said in another video, my ex has an avoidant attachment. i recognized all the signs. sometimes i wonder how often he thinks about me. i have the suspicion that he is back on dating apps. it's really hard to keep busy though. i dont know if i should take his kindness and words with a grain of salt or not

I have lost weight, been talking to a therapist.

The most difficult part is when your ex reaches out to you after no contact. My ex reached out to me after 6 days of no contact, but then it can easily fall into friendzone stage. Of course, we shouldnt immediately talk about get back together, but then it is very hard to distinguish if your ex is just treating you as a friend, and wants to get over you by keeping you as a friend, so that they feel less guilty; they may just want to talk to you when they feel lonely. However, if you want to get back together, as a dumpee, you must not initiate the idea of getting back together and reconnect as a friend, so that both of you can communicate. I find it extremely hard to distinguish which side i am actually locating at and it is just so confusing.
