Nothing wrong with the Belgrano headline tbh. No different to the similar reactions to the sinking of the Graf Spee, Bismark, Tirpitz and Scharnhorst during the Second World War. The big crime of British media coverage of the Falklands War was outlets such as the BBC releasing stories that got British servicemen killed. I.e. Announcing 2 Para's attack on Goose Green a day prior to it going ahead, as well as reporting that Argentine free-fall bombs weren't being armed correctly (something that the Argentines immediately rectified).
