Yes I am a former prison inmate and my wife is a former corrections officer, our relationship began after I was released and she had already left the prison industry. It was not planned it just worked out that way. Today we own a business and we also podcast about our experiences in prison and life after prison. We also help out people getting released and I do some public speaking inside of different prison systems. We are all about second chances and reform. We have been married 8 and a half years have 2 children, 4 dogs and a beautiful life. We are very fortunate and blessed and we appreciate all the support we have gotten. From a prison yard to a beautiful backyard - you've come a long way and built something good. I see some haters get sparked off the minute you add CO and prisoner to your testimony, but more than anything it just proves that real love surpasses all the odds. It's so important to have support and encouragement once someone's out after doing time, glad y'all are out there helping people, even a small gesture that shows someone cares can go a long way in keeping them grounded to turning their lives around. Heck ya. Subbed. My lady stuck with me through a 4 year bid and now we have a house, a rescued cat and rescued turtle. And still live near my elderly parents and run their dog regularly.
