Murderers and rapists spend less time in jail. Ridiculous.

I'm 39, just out of an abusive marriage, living in my Aunt's spare room with my daughter. Starting over no job, homeless, nor a dime to our But it's a blessing compared to what we just escaped.

Doing time helps you build mental strength. Beauty came with the age.. You looked better now then you back then

I spent more of my life on drugs and in that world than I didn’t. I am now almost 11 years sober and a paramedic and headed to get my nursing degree. You should be very proud and you are a light for people like me. Thank you

I remember being 35 years old and crying on the way to my first term at the north kern state prison in the state of California I'm now 55 and haven't been back since this truly scared me straight your an inspiration to all who have been there taking something negative and making a positive out of it! Your still quite beautiful!

I hope people don't judge her too harshly. If she did her time, then she should be treated with some degree of equality to all of us.

Glad you are doing better now, lady!! Your last picture definitely shows signs of anger.. I remember when I was 13, I got busted for theft and one of the cops at the police station looked at me and said, "hey young lady, you don't look like the type who would steal. Why did you do it? You look like a smart.kid." I told him, "Well, looks are deceiving, Officer but yeah, normally, I wouldn't steal. I did it on a dare. " I spent one night in the holding center in the orange jumpsuit and was handcuffed, sent to court the next morning..the look on my mom's face was a mix between sheer rage and disappointment. I learned my lesson pretty quick.

I struggled in and out of jail for the larger part of my life. Haven't been in trouble in over 10 years. But nothing ever came easy. Now, I'm a full time father of 5 boys, working from home. Life never gets easier. We just get stronger. Stay strong.
