or you can just change 2/3 into 6/9 by multiplying the numerator and denominator by 3 and allows you to subtract 2/9x or 6/9x from both sides... only bad thing about this method is that you are eventually gonna have to divide both sides of the equation by a fraction but its not hard if you know how to do it
