Tesla seems determined to ensure that it delivers as many Model S sedans as possible. This was hinted at by sightings of the refreshed premium sedan, both in the Fremont Factory grounds and on car carrier trucks on the road.

Klender also notes that there are only two weeks left in the second quarter.

He says considering Tesla’s tendency to initiate a massive end-of-quarter push, there seems to be a pretty good chance that the company would do what it can to deliver as many cars as possible before the end of the month. The Tesla Model S is a high-margin vehicle, after all, which means that such efforts should help the company’s Q2 financials.

The Model S sales acceleration news is nice. I think their price tag Tesla Model S Plaids counts for 2 revenue-wise. Should be noticeable in the Q2 financial report. Even though the Model Y production numbers ramping up big will probably put it in the shade.

Also, there has been some backlash against Tesla from prominent supporters that they should advertise to combat the fear, uncertainty, and doubt that is constantly spread. Should Tesla do this and if so, what should they do?

When you advertise, all you do is educating the public. That’s a great idea. Like a teacher in a lecture class. The fact and nothing but the facts. The difference between the competition is a definite. The goal of why EV versus ICE. How does EV make more sense. When we educate we give the consumer the best options to make a decision It works.

I think Tesla has always been posting advertising in non-conventional way. That makes the brand unique.

Re advertising - Impatient shareholders especially need to be kept up to date! Youtubers must remind shareholders too that in the long run when thousands of cars are being delivered every week - the great potential will arrive : Every happy car owner will want the stock too - and every happy stockholder will want the car ……..two edged happiness for the stock price- your presentation was good clear and concise - well done.

A friend of mine has had his Model S Plaid on order since the first day that it was offered for sale, and he said that he actually spoke to a Tesla representative last week who told him that he could expect to have his car ship in the next few weeks. One key point however is that he has not gotten his car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) yet, but once he does then the shipment and delivery of his car will follow shortly afterwards. We are already starting to see some production Model S reviews and tests online now, so the cars are starting to be shipped already, if only in limited numbers so far. I am glad that Q2 is ending because Tesla will need to get these new Model S EVs delivered soon to be counted in the overall Tesla production numbers for this quarter.

No dude, they are not delivering those cars. They are building but can't deliver because they need trim pieces inside. I ordered in Feb and still have no date...so something is very wrong with the model S. The unveiling was a PR stunt, because cameras show no new loading for deliveries.

Traditional Ads- no no - Many people however will not look at a website- therefore positive information / advertising is imperative through Youtubers and bloggers - a weekly press release with progress reports and detail on FSD ETC?

I wouldn't mind a Tesla logo with a purely informational advertisement to make solar, batteries, and EVs more well known as ways to save money, lives, and jobs. No mention of companies, or even a sector wide group to put everyone's names out there.

The Tesla Model S Plaid is the best vehicle ever made, bar none. And Tesla's in general are much better than any perceived competition. The narrator is directly responsible for a large amount of FUD, so what a joke. There is over 3 dozen Tesla YouTube channels, and they do a large amount of advertisement, except this channel, which wants to somehow belittle Tesla during every episode.

The narrator, hosts one the most FUD based channels I watch out about 3 dozen, must be joking. Wait a minute, it is just more FUD, because Tesla can not make enough cars fast enough, right now. So, advertising would be the biggest waste of money I can imagine, except if your manufacturing ICE cars like Mercedes. Mercedes is lucky if they make 5 percent on every car they make, which is why they can only survive with subsidies from the German Government, and the Minister of Transportation working for Mercedes and trying to strong arm Elon into opening up his supercharger system to the German EV builders. It is a joke, and so is the narrator, a big fat ugly joke. Why can't the German manufactures produce their on superchargers. Oh, that's right all of them are being subsidized. So, they don't have any money, no money at all. That's why German Car makers must advertise heavily, have sales, have give aways, make deals and left and right, because it is so hard for them sell the modest amounts of vehicles they are currently making. So, Tesla shouldn't even think about advertising, until they discover themselves with excess inventory just like every German vehicle manufacturing company has, excess inventory. Let us not forget, Tesla is profitable, the most profitable car maker on the planet, because people can't wait to buy Tesla's vehicles, can't wait.
